Pleats started to step into the spot light last fall, and they continue to make their way into the spring.  Leave the wide car wash pleats behind, and choose a more narrow pleat in a lighter fabric for spring.

Pair your skirt with a graphic sweater, like this one from J Crew, preferably in a light knit to adapt to the spring weather. Mini skirts are making a strong comeback for spring so shorten your hemline, and while you are at it decrease your heel height.
