If you follow StylishTwo at all, you have probably noticed that we like to travel, frequently together.  You may have also noticed that last week both Em and I had our flights from Costa Rica back to the USA canceled due to a severe snow storm that hit the eastern side of the country.  Em was able to make arrangements to fly into Canada and then back home from there, but I was to (not so heartbreakingly) remain to Costa Rica for two extra days before I could make my way home.

So how exactly can you handle this situation with style and grace?

OOTD: When you get stuck in a foreign country!

Em and I (S) tend to travel together. We have has some wonderful adventures over the years, and this year brough us to the beautiful lands of Costa Rica! 

  
While the trip has been amazing, the country is beautiful, out homelands in the USA have been getting hammered with snow, resulting with us, more so S the Em, getting suck here for a few extra days until we can fly home! 

So how do you dress when you find yourself stuck in a tropical climate for a few extra days? If you are S, it’s a romper of course!  

 
Opt for a light fabric with lace trim to bring in this years trend of intimate inspired wear!

S loves skinny jeans.  So much, she has a drawer full of them.  Em is the opposite.  She owns none.  No matter what your preference, skinny jeans have been the dominant trend for years, but these days new trends have been popping up in the denim department.  Check out some of these trends, and add your favorite to your wardrobe for a fresh look in 2016!

Fashion Resolutions to ring in the New Year

newyearWelcome 2016, and the first birthday of Stylish Two!

Em & S hope everyone had a fantastic 2015, and that 2016 proves to be even better.  We also hope everyone continues to live a the stylish life of their dreams, so to help, here are some fashion resolutions to inspire you!

  1. Try a New trend
    Check out fashion week trends, and wear something that you normally would shy away from!
  2. Clean Out Your Closet
    Out with the old, and in with the new!  Trying bringing your nicer used clothes to a consignment shop to make a little extra money to put toward a new idem.
  3. Try StyleBook
    Try this fun app to organize your closet and help you pick out some great new outfits!
  4.  Challenge Your Heel Height
    Its easy to get stuck in a fashion rut.  If you always wear heels, challenge yourself to try flats, or a lower heel.  Always wear flats, try a kitten heel and see how it can change your outfit!
  5. Break the Fashion Rules
    Wear white after labor day, mix prints, wear floral in the winter.  Rules were meant to be broken after all.
  6. Find a Tailor
    Your pieces look more expensive, and make you look better when they fit your properly.  Find yourself a tailor, and get give your wardrobe an overhaul.
