They are everywhere this spring, and it looks like this trend will not be leaving us anytime soon.  Culottes may be intimidating, but really they are easy to wear, and oh so comfortable!  Here are a few tips on how to work them into your wardrobe.

I have a few pairs, including jean and pinstriped ones, but this pair is my favorite! I love the print! There are so many options, so starters, find a pair that has a look you feel flatters your body and your style. How to Wear Spring Fashion Trend Culotest

Tie up your shirt.  If you read my post on How to Wear Midi Skirts, you know one of my first pieces of advice for people who are stepping outside of their fashion comfort zone is to balance out your clothes.  Culottes are longer and looser, so balance it out by putting a knot in your shirt to make it shorter and more form fitting.  Here, I paired it with some amazing gladiator heels, which are pretty much a staple in my wardrobe. How to Wear Spring Fashion Trend Culotest

If you are bolder, another way to balance out your culottes is by pairing it with a crop top.  Yep, culottes almost beg to be worn this way!  Choose higher waisted culottes, so you only see a little skin for a classier look.  Here, I wore them with this amazing leather crop top for an edgier vibe.

Rules were meant to be broken, at least when it comes to fashion.  Forget balancing things out, and pair your culottes with an untucked button down, like this well worn in chambray shirt but a more casual look.  Of course, aviators make everything look better.

When it starts too cool off in the evenings, almost nothing looks better than pairing these pants with a great leather jacket.

Not cool enough for a leather jacket?  Consider a vest!  Jean is always a spectacular option, but so is this white tuxedo vest.  I pair it with yellow platform wedges and a peach crop top for a few pops of color!

Now, be inspired, and always be stylish!
